For all of you who don’t know - IT’S A GIRL! I just couldn’t be happier. The day of the ultrasound we asked the technician to write down the gender in an envelope. Then we took my friend the sealed envelope and she made us a wonderful cake, the filling either chocolate for a boy or strawberry for a girl. Then they blind folded me and gave me a bite! I flipped out! I was totally trying for a girl….and completely convinced it was a boy. But - Strawberry it was! Isn’t she beautiful already. This is a picture of her face profile. It looks like she has Max and Mo’s nose!

John struggles with a 850 pound Marlin - they have to strap them into this seat to make sure they don't go flying off the boat.

This is a fish they will use for BAIT--- to catch Marlin.

- Great Barrier Reef from far away.
As you can see he was fishing right on the Great Barrier Reef. The Reef is actually one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. He got to go snorkeling right on it. They fish here because it is a great place to catch black marlin. The biggest one ever caught around this area, the northeastern tip of Australia was 1600 pounds. John actually caught and pulled up on the boat a 350 pound Marlin, that is the biggest you can get into the boat. Then he hooked a 850 pound one that he was able to struggle with for an hour and get it out of the water a few times. They are so big and strong you can’t even get them onto the boat.
He had a wonderful time. The water is just absolutely beautiful. How’s that for a fish story!

Mo and Max conquer the hay mountain
We went to this AWESOME pumpkin patch this year. They have hay rides, a barn movie theater, kettle corn, tractor rides, petting zoo, a pumpkin launcher, and lots lots more fun things to do! We got lost in the corn maze with our family. Max said his favorite part was, “Walking around in the tall green things with the whole family.” He is so cute! Moriah enjoyed shooting a pumpkin several 100 yards with her dad in the super pumpkin launcher.

Mo and John test out the pumpkin launcher

Parkin' it with Parker
My 28th Birthday this year was spent with my family! What more could i ask for. We had a nice day at the Idaho Falls Temple park grounds, had a pinic, went to the visitors center, and then had a family dinner at the Texas Roadhouse! YUM! Of course, there was the part that Mo threw up all over the restaurant…..but other than that……..
